Pulowi – DominicanaModa2010
This collection was the culmination of Carlos De Moya’s summer studies at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy. De Moya’s journey to Italy was made possible after winning a highly competitive scholarship on a reality TV show in his home country, where he stood out among over 80 talented fashion design students.
Upon his return to the island, De Moya unveiled his collection for the first time at the most prominent fashion event in the country, marking a pivotal moment in his career.

In 2007, DominicanaModa made history by launching its inaugural Emerging Designers platform. This groundbreaking initiative showcased 13 innovative fashion designers, each with their distinct vision, marking a pivotal moment for the Dominican Republic’s fashion industry.
- Carlos De Moya (CDM) was a pioneering member of the first generation of emerging designers showcased at DominicanaModa.
- His debut collection not only made a lasting impression but also paved the way for future collaborations with prominent brands. CDM went on to design commercial collections for top department stores in the Dominican Republic.
